Your responsibilities
- through the creation of innovative solutions: Smart Home, Voice and Video communication, Routers we do our best to redefine the way people communicate with each other
- our R&D site is a unique place where technical knowledge and years of practice meet with openness and an incredibly dynamic environment
- this job puts you in area of Software Quality where you can really influence and shape Gigaset products
- you will plan, design and execute test cases to find flaws in software…but not only, also to look from the customer’s perspective and to assess the product’s usability and its market competitiveness
- you will test software manually and you will also have a possibility to acquire experience in test automation
- we will encourage you to develop your skills and learn new exciting things in an unbeatable working atmosphere
Our requirements
- professional testing experience
- you own practical (not Wikipedia-based) know-how on IP network configuration
- you have hands-on experience with Wireshark
- words such as ‘curious’ and ‘creative’ describe your character accurately
- open-mindedness and flexibility do not contradict your nature
- using Linux is not a challenge for you
- your English is B2 or higher
- you show a desire to solve problems and take up intellectual challenges
Optional
- ISTQB certificates (equivalent knowledge would be sufficient)
- test automation abilities (Python)
